I have such cute friends..

This year is probably the second time I spent my birthday away from my family.
The first should be when I was serving the country in the National Service back in 2004.
This year, I'm in Portsmouth, UK.
If you read my last post here which I posted on my birthday, you'd probably see my view on birthdays.

Flat 1 "housemates"

There is nothing wrong with not celebrating birthdays with the family, but I just miss it.
Everyone in my family will keep themselves free on the day of our birthday, regardless of who.
This year, there's no exception. I received a facetime call from both my parents at 12am Malaysian time.
It is not often to see them still awake at 12am but they did it for me..oh so touched!!

Anyways, like the post title suggests, I have really cute friends!!
I've publicly announced that March is my emo month. Well, it is..but not emotionally bad.
My friends thought I was really emotional about it so they came to my studio at 12am sharp to surprise me (:

Uber Cute Birthday Cake

First, it was this super cute birthday cake that DOESN'T COME CLOSE TO MATCH MY PERSONALITY!!!

I'm a grown man *well, I'd like to think that* and they got me a PINK cake with a PINK angel and PINK mushrooms to cheer me up.

Then theres this cream cake (I'm sure you know what I mean) which was nicely pushed towards my face.

I don't know how unique is it, but its pretty common in Malaysia, no?

The cake was just nice to look at, but not as nice to be eaten.

As you would've already guessed it, most part of it is sugar.

Okay, here comes the cute part..

I'm only 26 this year..

(Well, 26 but the oldest among them though)

Yes, and its for the Kitchen's Housemate.

I do stay over at their flat sometimes over the weekend, in their kitchen/common room.

I don't sleep on the floor/kitchen counter/ kitchen table

I sleep on the sofa which happens to be quite comfy (:

But I AM NOT THE KITCHEN'S HOUSEMATE!!!

I am their Kitchen housemate, not the housemate of the Kitchen..

Get that right, kids :p

Anyways, my birthday was quite good.

All thanks to the people I have here in Portsmouth.

Too bad the bestie, Evelyn can't celebrate it with me this year wahahaha!!!

Well, at least we hung out at the end of last month kan?

Since I don't drink (Alcohol) on my birthday, my friends can't have a  drinking session which they do on EVERY birthdays.
Instead, we played board games LOL!!! It was good, healthy fun~!!!
